API Keys
API keys let external tools and scripts act on your workspace through the Kasbly API. Create a key, copy it once, and store it securely.
Creating a key
Section titled “Creating a key”Give the key a descriptive name, optionally set an expiry date, and choose its scopes, then create it. The full secret is shown only once at creation — copy it immediately, because you can’t retrieve it again later.
Scopes
Section titled “Scopes”Scopes limit what a key can do. Grant only what each integration needs:
- read — read-only access
- contacts — read/write contacts
- conversations — read conversations
- campaigns — campaign access
- webhooks — webhook access
- full — complete access to your workspace
Managing keys
Section titled “Managing keys”The keys table shows each key’s name, scopes, creation date, last-used time, and expiry. Revoke any key that’s no longer needed or may have been exposed — revocation takes effect immediately.
