Skills & Triggers
Skills are focused capabilities your agent uses for specific situations, and triggers decide when each skill activates. Together they keep the agent capable without overwhelming it on every message.
Skills
Section titled “Skills”Each skill bundles related tools and instructions for one job. From the skills list you can:
- Create a new skill or edit an existing one.
- Enable or disable a skill.
- See which tools a skill includes and which lifecycle stages it applies to.
Triggers
Section titled “Triggers”Triggers are the example phrases that tell the agent when a skill is relevant. You can author trigger phrases per language so the agent recognizes the same intent however a customer expresses it.
Preview routing before going live
Section titled “Preview routing before going live”Before relying on a new skill, use the built-in Test triggers panel to preview how routing would handle a sample message — it shows which skill the agent would pick. Confirm the right skill activates before going live.
